The Home Café
I was a sophomore in college when I realized Starbucks was becoming a financial problem...
I had just gotten my first internship in Atlanta, and my morning routine looked the exact same every day: wake up, throw together some version of a "get ready" routine, stop at Starbucks (yes... every. single. day.), and somehow make it to work right... on... time.
At the end of the internship, all of the employees came together to spoil the interns with gifts based on our personalities and interests. Low and behold... mine was a $100 Starbucks gift card.
I wish I could tell you it lasted me a month.
Or even two weeks.
Nope... one week.
That's when I knew I had a problem.
From that point on, I made it my mission to figure out this whole "making coffee at home" thing. Truthfully, I never really loved it. It just wasn't the same... until my mother-in-law bought me the espresso machine that was at the top of my wedding registry.
Enter: the Ninja Luxe Café.
This thing has saved me so much time and money, but honestly, that's not even my favorite part. I genuinely get excited to wake up every morning, make myself a coffee I actually look forward to drinking, and pretend I'm a barista for about five minutes before reality kicks in.
If there's one thing on this blog I'd tell every single person to buy (besides my precious air fryer), it's this espresso machine. It has officially turned my kitchen into my favorite coffee shop, and my wallet is much happier because of it.
